Analgin is a medicine of the pyrazolone group, possessing hard analgesic andantipyretic effects and moderate antiinflammatory activity. Blocking of the synthesisof endogenous pyrogens – prostaglandins D and E – is the cause of the antipyreticactivity and also the analgesic action of this drug.Unalgin 50 is indicated for the relief of pain in colics and other spastic conditions ofthe abdominal organs; acute and chronic arthritis, rheumatic conditions of musclesand joints, neuritis, neuralgia, and tendovaginitis. It can also be indicated for the treatment of muscular pain, rheumatism, fever diseases, and hernial pain in animals. It has strong fever-relieving effects, anti-inflammatory, and strong analgesic.
