Uni-Tylva

Tylvalosin has both bacteriostatic and bactericidal action plus the additional benefitof antimicrobial activity of the major metabolite 3-AT. Tylvalosin can act intracellularlyand reaches relatively high intracellular concentrations in phagocytic cells(macrophages and neutrophils).Tylvalosin has antibacterial activity against Gram-positive and some Gram-negativeorganisms and against mycoplasma by way of inhibition of protein synthesis in thebacteria cell. Uni-Tylva is indicated for the prevention and treatment of Mycoplasmosis(Mycoplasma gailisepticum, M. synoviae and other Mycoplasma species) anddiseases associated with Clostridium perfringens (enteritis resulting in wet littersyndrome and cholangiohepatitis) in chickens, and turkeys.
