Phosphorus is the vital dietary element for the growth of birds and is essential for egg production andeggshell quality. The phosphorus availability from palnt-originated ingredients like maize,soybean meal and other cereals are limited because of the fact that most of the phosphoursare in the form of phytates i.e. Myoinsitol hexaphosphates. Phosphorus is present in Phytates asa complex of cations i.e.Ca, Mg, Zn, K, and proteins.
